The two-day music festival Krazy Super Concert made its way to the Los Angeles area with a one-of-a-kind experience and a stacked line-up of Asian pop superstars and global artists from other regions. The concert’s inaugural series started in 2023 in New York. The Los Angeles festival was held at the Long Beach Arena on September 14-15, 2024. All attendees were encouraged to experience various on-site activities, such as food trucks and fan activations.
The full music artist lineup consisted of Alaina Castillo, AKMU, Lay Zhang, Lauv, SUNMI, ZEROBASEONE, and aespa performing on September 14, while AGNEZ MO, ZEROBASEONE, aespa, Bambam, DK of iKon and CL performed on September 15. The global lineup includes artists like Lauv and Alaina Castillo, who hail from the U.S.; AGNEZ MO, who hails from Indonesia; Thai artist Bambam; and Chinese EXO member Lay Zhang. K-pop superstars ZEROBASEONE, aespa, and Kim JungKook performed on both nights. The event saw over 18,000 fans come together this past weekend.
A “Super” Day One
Popular K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE kicked off Krazy Super Concert on September 14th after a short opening set by special guest Alaina Castilla (not pictured). ZEROBASEONE brought the heat to the stage for both days of the festival.
Famed singer and entertainer Kim Jungkook acted as the MC for both days of the Krazy Super Concert. Despite being an MC, he performed two songs from his discography at the event.
SUNMI delighted fans with a set featuring her biggest hits, such as “24 Hours” and her recent single “Balloon in Love.”
Sibling duo AKMU, consisting of Lee Suhyun and Lee Chanhyuk, graced the stage with a live band and talented vocals. This performance at the Krazy Super Concert marked their first-ever performance in Los Angeles.
On day one of the festival, EXO member Lay Zhang showcased his mastery of dance and performance. He then brought on surprise special guest American artist Lauv to perform their collaboration single “Run Back To You” together. Later, the Chinese star hailed the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, donning Jackson’s white glove and dance style.
While Lay Zhang conducted an outfit change backstage, Lauv sang “i’m so tired…”, a 2019 hit song made in collaboration with Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan. Lauv invited fans to sing along while showcasing his vocal abilities and charm.
A “Krazy” Day Two
Indonesian singer-songwriter AGNEZ MO appeared on day two as a special guest. Fans were pleasantly surprised a week before the concert by the announcement of her inclusion in the show!
DK of iKon delivered a passionate performance of some of his group’s most memorable hits. He also performed some songs from his solo 2024 album ‘NAKSEO.’
Thai rapper and singer Bambam from K-pop boy group GOT7 made his presence known during his fiery set on the second night of Krazy Super Concert.
An icon from the Hallyu wave of the early 2010s, CL lit up the stage with her impassioned rap performances. Her world-renowned stage presence offered a special treat for K-pop fans in attendance.
aespa played a set for each day of Krazy Super Concert, electrifying the arena with performances of some of their biggest hits, including recent megahits “Supernova” and “Armageddon”. This group was one of the most anticipated artists on the lineup for fans.
