GOT7 Jinyoung is back to serve his K-Drama acting skills! Recently returning from the military, Jinyoung is active again both in GOT7 and with his new roles in upcoming shows. GOT7 fans are in for a treat because Jinyoung has two K-Dramas releasing just in the first half of 2025! With Jinyoung’s great emotional acting and melodrama experience, fans are in for a treat with The Witch! Starring both Jinyoung and Roh Jeong Eui, this mystery romance follows Roh Jeong Eui’s character who is seen as a witch. While she is ostracized by their schoolmates, only Jinyoung’s character thinks of her kindly and falls in love with her. Stay tuned since this K-Drama will premiere on Feb. 15, 2025!
After the release of The Witch fans don’t have to wait too long to see him in another K-Drama! Currently, Jinyoung is in talks to star in K-Drama Unknown Seoul alongside Strong Girl Bong-soon’s Park Boyoung. The K-Drama’s story revolves around twin sisters, both played by Park Boyoung, who swap identities and lead two different lives. Through their different life journeys, they discover the meaning of life and true love. Jinyoung’s story is connected to one of the sisters, who he has known since their school days. What makes this story and pairing even more interesting is it’s written by Youth of May’s writer Lee Kang.

Being one of Jinyoung’s earliest K-Dramas, Dream Knight is especially iconic because it features all of GOT7! As a way to help promote GOT7 as a whole, this fantasy romance mini-series was made for fans and new audiences. Revolving around a lonely high school girl, played by Song Hayoon, who meets 4 magical boys who help and look after her. While the boys who hang around her are played by JayB, Mark, Youngjae, and Jackson, Jinyoung is also part of the main cast. During the time that he still went by Junior, Jinyoung played a love interest and rival in this series. While this K-Drama was mostly for fanservice, Jinyoung was able to show both comedic and emotional performances alongside JayB.
Magic School
Looking for another light and fun Jinyoung series? Magic School is the perfect watch! Just like a potion, this series has its magic in its mix of fun, comedy, and romantic feel-good moments. Jinyoung plays Lee Nara, a university student who has never had a girlfriend and wants to be a public servant. Along with the rest of the star-studded cast including Park Gyuyoung, 2PM’s Nichkhun, and Shin Eunsoo, they enroll in a magic school. Jinyoung plays his clumsy yet lovable character well, showing just how endearing he is in the series. What makes this more swoon-worthy is his developing relationship with Park Gyuyoung’s character, showing their magical chemistry.
He is Psychometric
Superpowers, a thrilling mystery, and romance all in one? He is Psychometric and will have viewers on the edge of their seats! In this K-Drama, Jinyoung plays Lee Ahn, a young man who acquires psychometry powers after losing his parents as a child. With the psychometric ability to see a person’s past through physical contact, he uses it to solve criminal cases. Here, he teams up with his schoolmate Yoon Jaein, played by Shin Yeeun, a girl with a painful past. As they work together to solve a case that has been haunting them both, the two of them grow closer. From the cute and bubbly Lee Ahn to giving a heart-wrenching performance all in one, this Jinyoung K-Drama is worth watching.
The Devil Judge
Watch Jinyoung fight to survive in the merciless, chaotic world of The Devil Judge! In a time of chaos, Jinyoung plans Kim Gaon, a rookie judge who was orphaned as a child. Gaon goes head to head with the devil judge himself, Kang Yohan, played by Jisung. Wishing to change the chaotic situation in Korea, Kang Yohan makes a show out of the courtroom. Turning it into a reality show where an audience votes for the fate of the guilty as he mercilessly carries out justice. However, not everyone agrees with his cruel methods, and Jinyoung delivers a strong and emotional performance as he goes against the devil judge. When My Love Blooms
Witness a beautiful love story that blooms and transforms over time in When My Love Blooms! During a time of political unrest, Jinyoung plays Han Jaehyun, a young man who was part of the student movement. He meets his first love Yoon Jisoo, played by Jeon Sonee, during a protest and they find themselves falling in love. However, fate pulls them apart in different directions and they are separated from each other. Years later when they are older, they come across each other again. But both have changed immensely over time, with different values and worldviews. Set in a tense political climate and still being a riveting love story, Jinyoung skillfully plays his role as the kind and heroic young Han Jaehyun.
