SEVENTEEN’s all-rounder maknae, Dino, has joined fellow members Hoshi, Woozi, and Vernon as the next member to release a solo mixtape. As a member of SEVENTEEN’s performance unit, Dino has devoted his time to presenting his trio of talents, singing, dancing, and rapping to the world. Now stepping away from his twelve older brothers, Dino uses his mixtape, “Wait,” as further affirmation of his talents as a solo artist.
“Wait” takes listeners through an intense musical journey not only about love but about Dino’s adamant dedication to his craft despite the doubts he faces. The fusion of Jazz with dynamic instruments such as electric synths creates an electronic landscape of sounds fit for Dino’s voice. “Wait” is accompanied by a music video where Dino sits in a waiting room, waiting for his number to appear. Sadly, his number, 356, is completely disregarded as 366 is the next number called. He takes his frustration to the street in a fierce dance break. The effortless dance moves he flaunts occasionally in his DANCEOLOGY series. The theme of waiting trails Dino throughout the video as he waits for a text back from his lover.
