Idols are always changing their hair colors for comebacks and special events. Several colors that the industry has delved into over the years include the generic black or brown, a radiant red, a gorgeous blue, and many others. There are too many to list in just one sitting! However, there is a right of passage hair color that several idols in the industry must experience. That’s right, a vibrant blonde is a color within the industry that can be described as nothing less than an idol go-to color.

V – BTS
BTS’ beloved V has had over 20 different hair colors, and ARMY has loved them all unconditionally. He especially looked charming and charismatic in his blonde look for BTS’ ‘Wings’ album release back in 2017. This era of V was best known as his ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’ era. Back then, ARMYs lost it over how stunning the singer looked. To this day, blonde V will never be forgotten by ARMY and anyone who had the privilege of seeing him during this era.
Jeonghan – SEVENTEEN
Jeonghan has been widely recognized for his luscious locks among Carats and K-Pop stans alike. He first showcased his new blonde look in 2015 amid the release of Seventeen’s ‘Mansae’. Jeonghan has since gone back to more natural colors following ‘Mansae’, but returned to his striking blonde hair in the May 2017 Seventeen release ‘Don’t Wanna Cry’. Since Jeonghan’s hair has been such a buzz topic for quite some time (it almost seems like that’s what he’s known for alongside his striking visuals and powerful vocals), it’d be a crime not to include him in this list!
Rose – Blackpink
Rose has always been known across the K-Pop community as an idol who owns blonde hair. It’s quite literally her color! Blonde hair 100% runs through Rose’s blood and it’s next to impossible for fans to imagine their favorite vocalist without it! Rose’s Barbie look is her signature hair color, as, during several Blackpink’s comebacks, Rose has rocked those beautiful blonde locks. Several fans have even questioned how Rose keeps her hair healthy— which is understandable since blonde maintenance is a lot of work. It makes one wonder how much bleach she’s gone through since her debut with Blackpink in 2016! Look no further, it has been revealed that she bleaches her hair up to three times per week according to one of Blackpink’s hairstylists. Talk about dedication!
Bang Chan – Stray Kids
Last but not least, we couldn’t forget the prestigious leader of Stray Kids, Bang Chan. Chan has also been one to truly own his blonde locks, just look at him! Stays were first blessed with this striking new look during Stray Kids’ ‘I AM YOU’ era back in October 2018. Early on during his pre and post-debut era, Chan had already stolen many Stay’s hearts with his charismatic personality, alluring vocals, and eye-catching visuals. But after hitting Stays with his new look, let’s just say that lives were changed. According to several online forums and fan communities, blonde Chan is one of their favorite Chan’s! Since then he has astonished Stays and non-stray kids stans alike with his ability to snatch souls via comeback looks!
