The first-ever Record Store Day K-pop Artist of the Year title was bestowed upon ATEEZ, a fourth-gen K-pop group that gained popularity because of their captivating performances and chart-topping releases!
The Department of Record Stores manages Record Store Day and organizes it with the Alliance of Independent Media Stores and the Coalition of Independent Music Stores. These organizations all work to promote independent record stores year-round, with events, special releases, and other limited experiences. Record Store Day, the global celebration of the culture of the record store, takes place annually in April. This year, it is April 20th.
To celebrate the annual event, Record Store Day will be releasing an exclusive vinyl of ATEEZ’s recent Billboard 200 chart-topping album ‘THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL’. Hello82 will distribute the special vinyl, a subgroup of KAI Media Group, and will be available at participating Record Store Day this spring.
The exclusive vinyl will be a must-have item for all ATEEZ collectors, promising to offer a unique experience both visually and audibly. The vinyl will include:
– Original tracks from ‘THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL’ (12”)
– 2 unreleased songs on a bonus vinyl 7” exclusive to Record Store Day
– 1 of 8 random PhotoTickets of the ATEEZ members
The vinyl will be available only at these record stores, adding an extra layer of exclusivity for fans eager to get their hands on this limited edition. The original two unreleased songs will also not be available on streaming platforms even after the release of the vinyl.
