CSR is a 7 member girl group that debuted in 2022 with the song “Pop? Pop!.” Now, they’re back with their newest mini-album ‘DELIGHT’ with the title track “Shining Bright” on March 29th. Members Geumhee, Sihyeon, Seoyeon, Yuna, Duna, Sua, and Yeham deliver their mini-album with the same refreshing and young concept as their previous two comebacks (“Pop?Pop!” and “L♡VTICON”).
CSR is a fairly new group many are not familiar with yet. Their concept is that each of the members is born in the same year (2005)! CSR stands for “첫사랑” or “Cheotsarang” which means “first love”. Their songs often revolve around feelings of first love as they grow up!
“Shining Bright” is CSR’s latest title track and it expands on their concept. The group has just surpassed 200 days since their debut and their sound has remained consistently cute and wistful. CSR’s “Shining Bright’ brings back light memories of spring and summer with its catchy chorus and flowing lines. “Shining Bright” also features lyrics about confessing to your crush while following your dreams in the process. The music video portrays CSR’s fast and sharp choreography as well as their colorful personalities in beautiful visuals with stunning sets and effects.
The Bsides on CSR’s ‘DELIGHT’ are also worth checking out for more springtime feelings and nostalgia. We recommend “Picnic,” an upbeat dance-pop song about going on a picnic with your crush!
