ITZY has just released a new mini album featured with 6 tracks on July 31st. Two of these tracks have already been released by MV on YouTube back in early and mid-July. “None of My Business”, “Bet On Me” and the most recent MV “Cake” all are visually different. However, they, along with the other tracks share a recurring theme. This theme seems to be self-empowerment which can reflect the album’s title ‘Kill My Doubt’.
All tracks off this mini-album have different sounds, usually most albums keep a theme going from visuals, lyrics, or sound. ITZY’s theme is reflected in their lyrics, again like listed previously keeping the flow of trusting and being true to who you are. Each track provides a carefree and sassy mood uplifting your spirits when feeling doubtful. The rest of the track titles consist of “Bratty”, “Kill Shot” and “Psychic Lover”.
Lyrical Breakdown
Each track of ‘Kill My Doubt’ has stand-out lyrics that can be related to any situation the listener has experienced or can be words of encouragement. Lyrical content such as these examples creates a connection between artists and fans where they can relate to one another and not feel alone when thoughts and feelings like this arise.

Music Videos
“Cake” has a witty and unique flow throughout the MV with a touch of cool and stark contrast as the hook rolls around. Throughout the video, each member encounters a grim setting where they always come up on top despite the severity of each scenario. This music video gives off the vibes of this famous saying “Life is Too Short”, as each member continues forward despite each setback.
The music video for “BET ON ME” where the album title derives from has a raw feeling that showcases imagery of the struggles that are heavily relatable. ITZY seems to be giving off an inner monologue with “BET ON ME”, The music video has each member in a difficult situation whether mentally, emotionally, or physically. Trusting yourself, believing in yourself, and allowing yourself to feel and heal is exactly what this MV conveys.
Lastly, “None of My Business” has bright and chill summer visuals with the lyrical content of a breakup. The lyrical depiction compares the long annoying hot summer days with that of an ongoing situationship or relationship that no longer is exciting and cool. The lyrics “Its none of my business what you do” as the hook displays the carefree attitude of a situation that no longer serves them.
UPDATES
ITZY once again has killed it literally with this mini-album release. The theme in terms of lyrics allows the fans to feel heard, seen, and content to relate to. Each MV’s visuals showcase the different sides that ITZY is made of, from the witty and funny visuals of “CAKE” to the moody and real visuals of “BET ON ME” to the sassy and carefree side of “None of My Business”.
