We cannot leave out this iconic performance of “ON” from BTS‘ 2020 album ‘Map Of The Soul: 7.” “ON” as a performance requires a tremendous amount of stamina due to its intense choreography. It’s particularly remarkable how Jungkook flawlessly hits his high notes during the bridge while elegantly walking down the passage formed by the backup dancers. Following such a vigorous dance session, one might assume that hitting high notes would be a challenge; however, Jungkook’s voice remained unwavering throughout, demonstrating that he knows how to do his job and does it well.
2. “If You” – King Of The Masked Singer 20160814
Jungkook was only 19 years old when he delivered the most angelic rendition of BIG BANG’s “If You” on the TV show, King Of Masked Singer. Although his identity was meant to be concealed, any army could detect his distinctive voice from a mile away. His participation in King of Masked Singer confirmed that his voice is truly unique and cannot be replicated. The softness of Jungkook’s voice was truly special, it had an unequivocal effect, causing even the judges to be intrigued from the very first line and melt into their seats.
3. “SEVEN” – The One Show – BBC
First, let’s talk about how Jungkook delivered this performance while he was under the weather. He hits each note while dancing around the stage with his lovely backup dancers all while not feeling well. He gave his Armys 200% while not feeling 100% himself, but you wouldn’t be able to tell due to his level of professionalism and mastery of his skill. His vocals remained unmatched during this performance, showcasing his unparalleled dedication and skill even in the face of illness. Wow, how iconic!
4. “Mic Drop” – SNL
BTS’ first appearance on Saturday Night Live came with an iconic performance of their 2017 hit “Mic Drop.” During their highly energetic performance, many fans and viewers noticed that their live vocals were clear and crisp. Jungkook is no exception; his vocals shined through the backtrack establishing that what we were hearing were indeed his live vocals.
