SHINee’s Key is known in K-pop for his visuals and sense of fashion. From his style to creating outfits for his fellow members, there is no doubt that he knows what he’s doing. Although he has numerous fashion highlights, we’ve narrowed down to six eras that Key dominated. Let’s take a look at Key’s “Good & Great” fashion!
The Story of Light EP. 1
Teaser images of members dropped until the release of their sixth studio album ‘The Story of Light.’ Key’s teaser image had Shawols, SHINee’s fanbase, praising his stunning visuals. His hair and lip piercing are the most shocking part of it all, but it suits him well. The glasses add a nice touch and tie in with the aesthetic.
Don’t Call Me
‘Don’t Call Me’ has been a fan favorite since its release for multiple reasons, but the conclusion was that Key owned this era. This image comes from the Fake Reality version of the album. The blinged-out shiny headpiece, his silhouette, and the outfit left fans everywhere in awe. We couldn’t help but stare at Key’s visuals ourselves.
Atlantis
Sea Captain Key is leading us on a voyage to ‘Atlantis,’ and we will follow behind him! This outfit suits him too well. This concept was a win in everyone’s book, from the pearl necklace with the gold seashell to the paisley-patterned pants. We have convinced ourselves that he can wear anything and look good.
Bad Love
‘Bad Love’ started Key’s solo debut and did not disappoint. Everyone could see how hands-on he was with every album detail just by the teaser images. This concept Sci-Fi, Star Wars-inspired theme mixed in with some theatrics, making it a ten out of ten. The outfit makes his body stand out, and the leather vest adds contrast. The blonde hair and blue eye combo adds another layer of edge we didn’t know existed.
Gasoline
We couldn’t pick just one teaser image, so we decided the poster would perfectly showcase everything. It highlights the leading characters of the movie Gasoline. The mad scientist with the cracked glasses, the bad boy with the bat and crazy hair (which Key pulls off perfectly!), the hero with his trusty weapon to save the day, the monster, and the evil villain behind the madness. The editing team deserved a raise with that one!
Good & Great
‘Good & Great’ is his most recent release, and it has to be the most creative Key has been for his solos. From the images to the individual teaser videos (even a custom Notion site!), his creativity has no bounds. The almost all-black outfit with the short-pants combo and the flame-like wings makes his visuals stand out more. The shoes add contrast and go well with the posters in the background.
