In this best K-drama couples list, we’re ranking the couples based on the typical ways they handle conflicts, which is a significant factor that makes or breaks one’s relationship. Based on the conversations held by K-drama fans on social media, these couples stood out the most.
1. “Doctor Slump” Couple: Nam Ha-neul and Yeo Jeong-woo
“Doctor Slump” couple may not be the most thrilling couple, but they gave us serenity while watching their romance bloom. Generally, their romance is grounded in honesty, equality, attentiveness, appreciation, and respect, which made the couple seem to have the least number of mind games and silent treatment scenes among other Netflix K-drama couples.
When one of them is mad, they do not seem to mind who drew the first blood. Once they have reflected enough on the issues, they will immediately initiate conversation and apologize to each other.
2. “Love Next Door” Couple: Baek Seok-ryu and Choi Seung-Hyo
Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in), who appeared to be “under” in his relationship with Seok-ryu (Jung So-min), is the only thing that hinders the “Love Next Door” couple from getting the top spot on this list. Other than that, they have a similar vibe to the top couple—making their romance a relationship goal we can aspire to achieve in our own relationships.
3. “Lovely Runner” Couple: Im Sol and Ryu Sun-Jae
No doubt, the “Lovely Runner” couple is one of the K-drama couples that gives enormous swoony feelings, as both are highly protective of each other. But that was also the reason that cost them the top spot. They preferred to solve the issues independently to save each other from additional worries. In any relationship, healthy independence is essential, but teamwork is necessary to prevent problems from getting out of hand.
4. “Mr. Plankton” Couple: Jo Jae-mi and Hae-ju
Jae-mi (Lee Yoo-mi) and Haeju’s (Woo Do-hwan) romance is as thrilling as their adventure. However, when conflicts arise, they tend to be impatient and blame each other. Luckily, they are not disdainful and have the same sense of humor that quickly resolves their fight.
5. “Queen of Tears” Couple: Hong Hae-in and Baek Hyun-woo
Hyun-woo (Kim Soo-Hyun) and Hae-in’s (Kim Ji-won) journey to a second chance is truly heart-fluttering, yet it’s difficult to ignore the intense unhealthy habits (shoving the issues under the carpet and silent treatment). They had when handling conflicts. Still, as they say, “Love is sweeter the second time around.”
