ONE PACT has one mission this Valentine’s Day: to confess their love to &heart, their beloved fanbase. Their latest EP, ‘Pink Crush,’ explores the diverse and complex aspects of love expressed through various genres. The five-member boy group reminds us that love is not a simple emotion but a journey that changes and deepens our lives. ONE PACT makes us look back to love in our memories, in the present moment, and to look forward to it in the future. ‘Pink Crush’ has participation from all the members, with Tag taking charge of production, showcasing his musical growth and delicate sensibility. All members actively participated in the album preparation, from choreography to songwriting, solidifying the group’s unique color.
“&Heart” is ONE PACT’s sincere love note to fans of the same name. This R&B dream-like song infused with EDM glitches expresses the group’s dedication to &heart and how their fans make them feel. “WILD:” is a pop track with an intense bass sound and dramatic composition. Filled with heavy beats and an equal balance of instrumental to vocals, “WILD:” is determined to be a repeat song.
“B2U” is an up-tempo song unique to the House genre with a sensual sound. The build-up to the chorus gave us goosebumps on the first listen. “Wait!” has a witty melody line and lyrics on top of the instrumental’s minimal sound. From the rap vocals to the storytelling flow of the song, it was an instant add to our playlist! “Confession” is the group’s pre-release single. The song is a delicacy of emotions over a sweet melody and dreamy sound. Member Jongwoo handled the music video production, showing off his creative directing skills.
“100!” is the title track of PINK CRUSH. It blends a lively guitar sound with retro influences that add a nostalgic charm, making the fun, catchy chorus more engaging. The closing track, “Never Stop,” is a soft R&B ballad with a sensual guitar riff and a lyrical melody line. The underbeat in the instrumental, mixed with the vocals, gives us vibes of reminiscences of love in the past.
