It is no secret that the members of P1Harmony are genius musicians, having songs that tackle various topics and emotions. While their discography is filled with an abundance of remarkable tracks, we’ll be breaking down one P-Side from each mini album and tying it to a certain occasion!
When We’re Feeling Discouraged:
‘Butterfly’ – “Disharmony: Stand Out”

‘Butterfly’ off of their debut mini album “Disharmony: Stand Out” is one P-Side that many P1ece describes as one of their best tracks. With its beautiful soft piano opening and its R&B flow that is decorated with melodious vocals, ‘Butterfly’ certainly does not lack in any way. Its story follows the metaphor of being a butterfly, lost without its wings. It shows the difficulties of living in the world with people telling you what to do. While fighting through adversity, the butterfly doesn’t give up and in the end, spreads its wings and begins to fly. The message calls the audience to stay true to themselves and not give up. Reach towards the goals and fly!
When We Need A Fresh Start:
‘Reset’ – “Disharmony: Break Out”
“Reset, Turn on the power again. Rest, Whatever I want. Erase the memory, change it. Reset, Let it blow.”
With ‘Reset’ being off of their 2nd mini album “Disharmony: Break Out”, the song comes in strong with a hip-pop style. The strong vocals and rap of each member are highly memorable in this song, giving the audience a strong intro to the album’s P-Sides. The song is littered with gaming metaphors, using these examples to share the message that it’s okay to start over in order to overcome obstacles. It also shares that self-trust is a must when overcoming these barriers as well!
When We Need Reassurance:
‘Before The Dawn’ – “Disharmony: Find Out”
“Even though it feels like falling off the deep end, off the deep end. Cause I can beat anyone, Cause I can do better, I can see the sun is rising.”
With everything going on in the world, it’s very common and easy to feel as though things aren’t getting better. The days filled with sorrow outweigh the good times, feeling as though life is moving like a slow-motion film. ‘Before The Dawn’ off of their third mini album combats those feelings in a slow yet impactful song. The vocals and rap of each member soothe the heart, with meaningful lyrics pouring those each verse. Its message calls out to fans, letting them know that things will get better. The sun is rising and we will rise with it.
When We’re Feeling Confident:
‘Swagger’ – “Harmony: Zero In”
“Now, I’m going to do whatever I want. No matter what anyone says, I’ll do whatever I want. You know I ain’t shown a thing, That’s my swagger”
As the beginning of the Harmony trilogy, “Harmony: Zero In” was released in 2022. ‘Swagger’, its fourth track, shows the charm of P1Harmony. The song shows a meaningful message within its pop beat and rhythm. It highlights the importance of following our dreams and not seeking approval from anyone else. To do our best and do it with swag!

‘BFF (Best Friend Forever)’ – “Harmony: Set In”

There is no doubt that ‘BFF (Best Friend Forever)’ off of their fifth mini album “Harmony: Set In” is one of their brightest songs, following the cheerful pop concept that is loved by audiences around the world. Its message is a shoutout to those best friends that are by our sides no matter what. The ones where the bond is unbreakable!
When We Need A Self-Love Anthem:
‘Love Me For Me’ – Harmony: All In”
“Nobody can love me like I do/There’s nothing like self-love”
Pulling a song from their latest comeback “Harmony: All In” we have ‘Love Me For Me’, a perfect summer song with a groovy beat. This song is definitely one to scream at the top of our lungs when we’re feeling low, being the self-love anthem that everyone needs. Its message shows us to love ourselves and to treat ourselves with kindness, finding comfort within ourselves.
