3. SB19
This five-member boy group is a force to reckon with. Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin assemble the rising P-Pop group SB19. SB19 is the product of a collaboration between Korea and The Philippines, as their management company, ShowBT, is a Korean company. After going viral in 2019 for their dance practice video of their second single, “Go Up,” the international attention grew. They landed on Billboard’s Social 50 chart (becoming the first Southeast Asian act to land in the top ten,) and signed a contract with Sony Music Philippines. SB19’s mix of Pop, Hip-Hip, R&B, and EDM will keep their popularity at a persistent increase; their visuals, vocals, and stage presence make them a front-runner for the P-Pop wave.
