With a sold-out performance at Chicago’s Allstate Arena, the global K-pop icon SEVENTEEN kicked off their long-awaited U.S. tour. This highly anticipated two-day concert marked the group’s first U.S. appearance in over two years, setting the stage for a massive nationwide tour.
Titled the SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR IN U.S., the tour has already sold out all ten of its shows. Following a successful start with two packed performances in Goyang, Korea, where the group performed for a combined audience of 58,000, SEVENTEEN’s Chicago show proved to be a grand return to the U.S. The group’s monumental achievements, such as selling the “Biggest Global Album of 2023” and becoming the first K-pop group to perform at Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, continue to fuel their skyrocketing popularity.

The concert’s theme centered around SEVENTEEN’s journey as artists. They began with a powerful rendition of their song “Fear,” symbolizing their early struggles, before transitioning into “Fearless,” representing their growth and resilience. The set culminated with the dynamic track “MAESTRO,” a testament to their rise as global performers.
From the moment the lights dimmed, SEVENTEEN had the audience in awe, delivering a three-hour show featuring 22 songs from their extensive catalog. CARATS were treated to performances of some of the group’s biggest hits, including “Super,” “God of Music,” and “Adore U.” The concert also gave U.S CARATS their first taste of SEVENTEEN’s latest album, ‘SPILL THE FEELS’, as the group performed several tracks from the album, including the new single “LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled).”
SEVENTEEN’s power comes not just from their group performances but also from the unique talents of their three sub-units. The hip-hop, vocal, and performance teams each had their moment in the spotlight, showcasing their styles through tracks like “Candy,” “Rain,” and “Water,” demonstrating the group’s versatility.
Adding a playful touch to the night, SEVENTEEN brought their lighthearted YouTube series, Going Seventeen, to the stage. The group performed songs like “Oh My!” and “Snap Shoot” in a whimsical mini-musical, complete with a journey through a jungle and the ocean. This fun, creative Segment added an extra layer of excitement to the show.
SEVENTEEN and CARAT Time
Before closing the night, SEVENTEEN took a moment to express their deep gratitude to their dedicated fans, CARATs; Joshua thanked the crowd for their ongoing support, saying, “Even though we don’t get to see each other often, your love never fades. We’ll be back soon. We love you.” S.COUPS, the group’s leader, echoed this sentiment, encouraging fans to “stay together and protect each other” until all 13 members of SEVENTEEN are reunited on stage.
The encore featured SEVENTEEN’s iconic track “VERY NICE,” as the members roamed the arena, engaging directly with CARATs. This close interaction turned the finale into an energetic celebration, with the whole venue dancing and singing along.
SEVENTEEN’s U.S. tour is far from over, and the group has plenty more in store for their fans. On October 30, they will perform live on Good Morning America.
