Woosung from the South Korean indie-rock group The Rose makes history this week by debuting at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart with his second album, ‘4444,’ which was released on October 4 via WOLFPACK/Transparent Arts. This achievement also makes him the highest-ranking Korean male artist on the chart.
In addition to landing No. 6 on the Top Dance/Electronic chart, he also charted in the following categories:
- No. 8 on Heatseekers Albums
- No. 15 on Current Album Sales
- No. 16 on Album Sales
- No. 44 on Top Dance/Electronic Albums
Today also marks the start of Woosung’s international B4 WE DIE tour, which will run through November 17th and visit cities like London, Paris, Melbourne, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles. Tickets for the tour can be purchased HERE.
‘4444’ is a genre-defying collection that includes the haunting piano ballad “Day That I Died,” and the undeniably catchy title track “44 (Forget Forever).” Woosung will close out 2024 by lending his voice to the upcoming Netflix animated series Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld.
You can listen to ‘4444’ here and watch the “44 (Forget Forever)” music video here. Congratulations Woosung!
